What to do

AWACS interpretation · not source language

What to review: First confirm whether your institution is a covered financial institution under FinCEN's June 2025 orders on transmittals of funds involving CIBanco, Intercam and Vector. If it is, note that the effective date is now September 4, 2025 instead of July 21, 2025, and that all other provisions of the orders are unchanged.

QC implications

  • No change in this record is mandatory, so there is no new QC test that follows from it.
  • If the lender is a covered financial institution under the June 2025 orders, QC may note that the effective date moved from July 21, 2025 to September 4, 2025.
  • The record states that no residential mortgage loan requirements are changed.
